The Mediatribu group's first company IVS Technologies was founded in Strasbourg in 1995 at the initiative of Laurent Issenjou, who was soon joined by Julien Colet in 1996. Initially focused on the rental of audiovisual equipment, IVS Technologies’ activities were quickly expanded to include logistics, the development of interactive solutions, the production of image content, the acquisition of image rights and dedicated production for the mobile telephony and Internet markets, thanks to the talent of its teams and the buoyant growth in the new technology sector.
The media constitutes a solid business sector for Mediatribu, based on two distinct yet complementary operational activities:
The group's extensive expertise in the provision of dedicated services for its particular industry in addition to the cultural and professional diversity of the men and women who comprise it are the main assets of the Mediatribu group. Additionally, its activities in the high-technology field are highlighted and supported by its know-how and service when supplying some of the greatest names in the French market. Present in fields such as music, interactive games, television and concerts, the cinema, the web, in addition to fixed and mobile telecommunications, Mediatribu holds key positions in each of these fields. The group seeks to encourage its divisions to achieve their full potential by enhancing their capacity for technological innovation, their creativity and their high levels of operational compatibility. In a business environment characterised by an increasing number of distribution methods and a surge in the use of digital technology (mobile, satellite, the web, etc) Mediatribu is investing in:
The outlook for growth is extremely healthy for all services related to the television, the downloading or exchanging of content via the Internet (music, games, films, TV programmes, cinema or animation) and the cinema. Accordingly, Mediatribu is continuing to invest in these divisions in order to maintain its level of added value, which remains unequalled in this business sector.
